PS-150 Pattern Selector

Awhile back, in Feb, I bought one of these pattern selectors off of ebay.  Bummer, the body was there but the needle selector wasn't.  My bad, I didn't know enough about this knitting machine tool to ask the right questions or look to see what should have been there.

So I started looking to find a needle selector for this machine. In March I was happy to have found just the needle selector at Peter Smiths website under the spare parts section. This was such a wonderful find. Then I found other things there that I wanted for my machine. The problem became, how to order.

When I couldn't figure it out, I found their number and called. I gave the lady the spare part number, she couldn't find it. I lead her to the exact page under spare parts, and she found it. So she says she will have to call me back. I am still waiting for that call.

After a few days of waiting for that call, I sent an email thinking that maybe that would be better anyway. I listed the part I wanted, and several others, and got an email back saying that they were really busy and it would be a week till they could get to what I wanted. A month went by, and I emailed again.

Guess what, I didn't even get an answer to my second email, I am still waiting for a call back from the phone call, and something from the first email to be done. I guess now I figure that it isn't happening.

This has to be the worst website to deal with if you want to get parts. I will not try again but start my search all over. Oh since that last email a couple of the things I wanted I have bought at ebay. No since waiting on someone who didn't seem to want my business in the first place.

I have read messages from others about how Peter Smiths site is the place to go for parts and I wonder how they managed that. I certainly am not a happy customer as they never got around to letting me be one of their customers. I guess that what I wanted just wasn't a big enough ticket item for them to deal with. That is the only reasoning I can come to.
